ECHO project at the XXXII School of Underground Exploitation
The 32nd edition of the School of Underground Exploitation conference was held in Krakow from February 27 to March 1, 2023.
The representatives of the Digital Mining Center team from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology presented a lecture entitled „Review and analysis of electric hammers in mining – application in ore discharge point in an underground mine”, in which they introduced the problematics of integration of LEH with existing infrastructure in underground copper ore mines and the objectives and limitations of performance evaluation of electric and hydraulic hammers.
The School of Underground Exploitation is one of Poland’s most popular mining conferences. Session topics include such issues as paths of change in mechanization of production processes in underground mines, underground construction, cyber security, digital transformation and AI in industry, geomatics in mining, new techniques and technologies in underground mining, methane from coal mines in Poland, etc.
In addition to the opportunity to listen to interesting reports, conference participants were entertained by a musical concert. The end of the conference was crowned with a gala event in the theater.
